Brendan Reedy joins Mid-America Real Estate Group as Principal overseeing Landlord Representation in the Chicago Market. Brendan spent the last 12 years in senior roles at Cushman & Wakefield and most recently CBRE. He has an extensive background in retail leasing having represented many of the most high-profile assets and new developments in Chicago, including Mellody Farm, Willow Festival, Overlook of Oak Brook, Sherman Plaza, Church Street Plaza and many more. Brendan has collectively worked on over 300 retail projects during his career and has completed more than 1,200 lease and sales transactions. Brendan has 19 years of retail real estate experience and has an excellent track record of improving occupancy and value across a broad spectrum of retail properties. Brendan has developed a highly effective strategy of merchandising, leasing and subsequently improving revenue for his clients. He has negotiated lease and sales transactions with an enormous array of tenants in the market and has cultivated relationships with principals at the highest levels of these corporations. Focusing solely on a high-quality open air portfolio ensures that he is on the front lines of tenant activity and gets the best possible attention for his client’s assets. Additionally, Brendan is focused on adding value throughout the deal process and remains involved to help navigate the nuances of retail leases and contracts. Brendan represents an exceptional portfolio of institutional grade assets for his clients which include Regency Centers, GW Properties, LaSalle Investment Management, Kite Realty, Pinetree, DRA Advisors, Lincoln Property Company, Newcastle Limited, Newport Capital Partners and Crow Holdings.
