Bradley T. Kornfeld is the asset manager for a portfolio of Class-A retail properties of approximately 700,000 square feet throughout Colorado, Texas and Ohio. He began his commercial real estate career in 1994 with Kornfeld Koslosky Properties, overseeing all legal work related to the firm’s shopping centers and becoming heavily involved in the development of new retail properties including site selection, retail anchor negotiations, securing entitlements, tenant lease negotiations and disposition of retail assets. Mr. Kornfeld’s responsibilities then grew to include full responsibility for supervision of property management and leasing. In 2009 Mr. Kornfeld secured full ownership of the firm, renaming it The Kornfeld Companies. In 2018 he retained Newmark Knight Frank to manage the porfolio and closed The Kornfeld Companies in order to focus exclusively on the portfolio he oversees, including asset management, leasing, construction management and finance. Mr. Kornfeld has developed more than 2 million square feet of retail space and has negotiated more than 750 commercial leases and 50 purchase and sale contracts with a wide range of national, regional and local retailers. Mr. Kornfeld is a licensed attorney and real estate broker. He received his B.S. from Emory University and his J.D. cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center. His community service includes serving on the Board of Directors of Donor Alliance, the federally-chartered organ procurement organization for Colorado & Wyoming, whose responsibilities include recovery of donated organs and tissues for transplantation and administering both states’ organ donor registries. Mr. Kornfeld will serve as Treasurer and is also one of the few non-medical board members of the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), the organization designated by the United States Congress to establish organ donation policies throughout the United States. Mr. Kornfeld also serves as a trustee for Rose Community Foundation. He enjoys the mountains, travel and spending time with his wife and three children.
