Bob Rand, CCIM, is a broker associate with Coldwell Banker Commercial Benchmark. While his seventeen years of commercial real estate experience provides depth in a broad range of commercial real estate disciplines, Bob specializes in industrial properties. Single tenant, multi-tenant, owner occupied, manufacturing, flex, and land are property types that Bob works on daily. Investment sales of industrial parks have been a staple of Bob’s business in the past several years. Bob provides proven results in sales, as well as landlord and tenant representation. From 2009 through 2013, Bob led the CBC Benchmark team of commercial real estate advisors assisting banks in managing and selling their commercial REO properties. Over ten different lenders, including Bank of America, Wells Fargo, SunTrust, Regions, Fifth Third, and many local community banks relied on the CBC Benchmark REO team for sales, management, and asset preservation of their owned properties. Bob's CCIM designation represents the completion of advanced coursework in financial and market analysis and demonstrated extensive experience in the commercial real estate industry. CCIM designees are recognized as leading experts in commercial investment real estate. He became a partner in CBC Benchmark in 2017. Bob is consistently an annual recipient of CoStar Power Broker awards for East Central Florida for Industrial Leasing and Industrial Sales. Bob graduated from Florida State University with a B. S. in Accounting and is currently an active member of the Florida Chapter of CCIM. He is the 2021 President of the Central Florida Commercial Association of Realtors (CFCAR). CFCAR serves a ten-county area including the Metro Orlando market. He serves as the Chairman of the City of Daytona Beach Economic Development Advisory Board and is active in Team Volusia Economic Development Corporation (TVEDC)– Volusia County's public-private organization that coordinates strategic economic development activities and business recruitment initiatives for the area. Other community involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors for the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce, and he is a past president of the Port Orange –South Daytona Chamber of Commerce. Bob is a past recipient of the "Business Person of the Year" Award awarded by the Port Orange – South Daytona Chamber in recognition of "outstanding leadership and service to the community". Prior to his time in commercial real estate, Bob was a long-standing multi-unit franchisee for one of the largest fast-food franchises in the country. Bob has resided in the Greater Daytona Beach Area for over 45 years and is married to his wife Teresa. They have five adult children and six beautiful grandchildren. In his free time, Bob enjoys family and is an avid golfer.
