Blake Tiedeman

Blake started at MGEX as Assistant Building Manager January 2008. He was promoted to Director of Real Estate Operations in November 2008. In this position, Blake works to implement strategies to maximize tenant procurement and retention opportunities in a tough commercial real estate environment. Blake also oversees all areas of tenant relations and building operations at the Grain Exchange Buildings and develops real estate business initiatives. “Blake has earned this promotion as he has shown the aptitude to lead the historic Grain Exchange Buildings in a new direction,” Layne Carlson, Corporate Secretary and Treasurer, former Director of Building Operations said, “I am pleased Real Estate Operations is in good hands. The MGEX will be well served with Blake’s leadership.” Along with his work at MGEX, Blake as over 15 years of experience in the hospitality and property management industries and has served as a City Council member for the City of Wyoming, Minnesota. Blake graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a B.S. in Hotel/Restaurant Management. He has a Masters Degree in Organizational Management from Concordia University, St. Paul.
