ABOUT

Bill Bergman serves as Senior Vice President, Leasing and is actively involved in the leasing efforts throughout the retail and commercial portfolio. With more than 25 years’ experience, he has handled a broad range of retail and commercial lease transactions. Since joining Muss Development Mr. Bergman has completed over 150 transactions. Key transactions include leases with Target at 7000 Austin Street in Forest Hills, Maimonides Medical Center in Brighton Beach, Petco and Key Food at the Jackson Heights Shopping Center. Prior to joining Muss Development, Mr. Bergman served as Commercial Leasing Manager at Rose Associates, Inc. While at Rose Associates, Inc. Mr. Bergman secured a lease for 27,000 square feet with Fairway Market at the Chelsea Landmark. He has also secured high-quality retail tenants at University Walk, Peter Cooper Village/Stuyvesant Town, and Carnegie Hill Place. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bergman was an Associate Director at Murray Hill Properties and an Associate at Helmsley-Spear working as a promotional Broker, and assisting tenants in their search for new office and retail locations. He specialized in the Midtown and Midtown South submarkets of Manhattan and acted as Leasing Agent for numerous New York area properties. Mr. Bergman graduated from the State University of New York at Albany with bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Judaic Studies and a master’s degree in real estate from the New York University. Mr. Bergman is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and serves on the organization’s retail committee.
