Betsy Borders Mangum is excited to be back in the Greater Richmond region after spending a few years in Ellicott City, Maryland. Richmond is embedded in her heart since she met her husband here and all three of their boys were born at St. Mary’s Hospital. An alumna of both James Madison University and VCU, Betsy began her career as a high school art teacher teaching in Frederick, MD, Charlotte, NC and New York City. While working on her Master’s at VCU, she became an intern at the Greater Richmond Chamber. She enjoyed five years as the Coordinator of Member Services where her favorite event, Breakfast Break, connected small and mid-sized business owners.
