Benton Downer
Benton is a native of Charlottesville, and his sole career has been in Real Estate Brokerage since graduating from Hampden-Sydney College. First licensed in 1977. He earned his Brokers License in 1981. After working for Alcova Realty1977-1982, HasBrouck & Graham Real Estate 1983-1989, and Montague, Miller & Co Realtors 1990-1996 . Downer and Associates was formed in 1996. As a principal broker, Benton brings years of Commercial Brokerage experience and a significant list of customers and completed transactions. Benton is very active in his church and the Charlottesville community, Has served as a committee member, and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Virginia Association of Realtors. He has Served the Charlottesville Association of Realtors in every Capacity including President in 2005.
