Bennett Goldberg

Bennett Goldberg is founder of Creative Industrial Group and co-managing member of Opportunity Zone Advisors. He has nearly 20 years’ experience in real estate acquisitions & development. He began his career with The Lomas Santa Fe Group in Solana Beach, CA., then to AECOM working in financial feasibility of infrastructure and development for large-scale project including hotels, shopping malls and master planned communities in Latin America and Asia. In 2011 he returned to the US, focusing briefly on real estate debt acquisitions before moving to a CFO role for Optimist Inc, a creative agency and later Comexposium, opening and managing the US office of a French private equity firm focused on revenue producing investments in North America. Bennett received undergraduate and graduate degrees in economics from UCSD. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, SD County Big Brothers/Big Sisters and UCSD’s School of Global Policy & Strategy. He speaks Portuguese, Spanish and Japanese. He’s also an avid surfer.
