Mr. Zamzow assists in all aspects of Rocky Mountain Companies' commercial development processes including acquisition/disposition, financing, entitlements, value engineering, and 3rd party investor funds. As COO, Ben directly oversees Rocky Mountain's property management, operations, brokerage, development, and construction departments. Since joining Rocky Mountain in 2015, Ben has transacted 85+ acquisition/disposition/lease transactions for total consideration of over $100M. Ben has overseen 2 retail shopping center developments, 6 medical office build to suits, 3 retail build to suits, and multiple asset repositioning/repurposing plays. Previously, Ben spent 9 years at Thornton Oliver Keller Commercial Real Estate, where he was named Top Producer in 2012, 2013 and 2014 (60+ transactions per year, $20-25M in annual consideration). Education: Ben holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Senior Certified Leasing Specialist (SCLS) designations, widely regarded as the two most notable industry designations. Ben is one of fewer than 25 individuals in the country to possess both the CCIM and SCLS. Ben is a graduate of Bishop Kelly High School (Valedictorian, 4.0 GPA), the University of Puget Sound (Honors Business & Economics, Summa Cum Laude, 3.93 GPA), and Boise State University (Masters of Business Administration, 3.8 GPA). At UPS, Ben was an active member of the debate team, an executive member of student government, and held numerous leadership positions in his fraternity. At Boise State, Ben took evening courses with an emphasis in financial modeling and entrepreneurship. His studies were funded by ICSC’s Charles Grossman Scholarship.
