Throughout his career, he has completed transactions with such companies as Vonage, General Electric, Carter Wallace, Marriott Corporation, MedPointe Healthcare, Akzo Nobel Corporation, Johnson Controls, Lehman Brothers, K. Hovnanian Companies and United Stationers Supply Company. Ben completed a 350,000-square-foot headquarters office lease for Vonage, the leading provider of Voice Over the Internet (VOIP) communications services in the world. Additionally, he completed a 575,000-square-foot regional distribution facility for United Stationers Supply Company, the top office supply distributor in the United States. Ben also executed a 417,000-square-foot long-term lease with MAP International, a prominent manufacturer of computer cabinetry. Ben recently represented MedPointe in its sale of 200 acres of residential land to the K. Hovnanian Companies. Before joining CBRE, Ben was one of two Grubb & Ellis professionals who led a team of six people in the liquidation of the leasehold assets of the Rickels Home Center chain. The portfolio consisted of 51 separate leaseholds throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. These assets were comprised of 2.7 million square feet of retail space and an 800,000-square-foot corporate headquarters distribution facility. The team was successful in procuring a contract of sale for the bulk of the portfolio with Staples within 75 days of being given the assignment.
