Ben Moore began his tenure at a young age in commercial construction working in the field of the family owned construction company. Since 1988, he has touched every facet of the construction phase from site development, estimating, project management, cost accounting, inventory control, insurance, and close out. From small projects to large developments his exposure in the field of commercial construction and contracting is vast to say the least. In 1997, Ben’s father introduced him to multi-family development and construction when the State of Texas ushered in a relatively new program today known as the Low Income Housing Tax Credit, LIHTC, Program. Since that time, with the help of his father, Ben has been directly involved with the development, construction, and management of nine successful LIHTC multi-family projects ranging in development cost size from $3.5 million to $23 million with a total of 1,070 rental units. What began as a simple book keeping task for each new development project has today grown in to a multi-million dollar asset portfolio stretching from Texarkana, Texas to Orange, Texas and has provided Ben with an exceptional understanding of multi-family property development and management. Since 2000, Ben has participated in the financing, accounting, development, construction, and management of over $88 million in multi-family LIHTC projects. Ben has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. Ben attained his Texas Real Estate Commission Sales Person License in 2012. Ben’s family history is deeply rooted in East Texas with a long history of service to the community.
