Barbara Tenzer

Barbara Tenzer established Tenzer Commercial Brokerage Group Inc. in 1989. Tenzer Commercial is one of the only Commercial Real Estate Companies solely owned and operated by a woman. Barbara is known as the most knowledgeable and respected Broker in Santa Monica. Barbara's primary focus is the Promenade as well as Downtown Santa Monica. She has vast experience in dealing with retailers, restaurants, office leasing and commercial sales. Over the past 30 years, Tenzer Commercial has successfully completed more sale and lease transactions in Downtown Santa Monica than any other brokerage company. Barbara organized the first Property Owners, Merchants and Restaurant Associations. She worked with the city, property owners and tenants to create the Third Street Promenade, which opened in 1989. Barbara was Chair of the Downtown Santa Monica Board of Directors, for two years, during her 10-year term from 2008 to 2018.
