Barbara Carpenter has been in real estate since 1985 and Golden Star Realty has evolved over the years since it's opening. Golden Star is a full service brokerage with experienced Realtors on staff to handle any aspect of real estate that a consumer needs. We help buyers and sellers of residential, commercial, multi-family and vacant land purchases. We offer professional property management services for your rental properties as well. We service all of Southwest Lower Michigan, centered in Paw Paw, the heart of Van Buren County, Michigan. Barbara first became a Broker in 1991, so with that many years of experience, you can rest assured you are using a true expert in her field. Barbara has alway been a business owner and entreprenuer following in the footsteps of her hard working father in the retail business right out of high school, Barb has always had a head for business and sales. Barb worked her way through college while also raising a daughter as a single parent. Barbara owned her own detective agency for over 20 years before going back in to retail sales and then real estate in the late 80's. It didn't take Barb long to go from agent to broker with her work ethic and then to owner of a successful real estate brokerage, Golden Star.
