After graduating from the University of Oregon, Avery joined the family business as a broker specializing in leasing and sales, primarily in the retail sector. With a prior background working for a Pioneer Square Labs-funded tech startup, TraceMe, that was sold to Nike, as well as large corporations such as T-Mobile, Avery brought exemplary communication, client management and organizational skills to her brokerage work. Working throughout our region, but with an emphasis on urban sites, Avery has experience representing small, independent ownership groups all the way up to large REITs, as well as small businesses, buzz-worthy start-ups, and national chain tenants. Within the scope of her work for these clients, she has experience working with a variety of assets, from traditional anchored shopping centers, strip and power centers, to new construction, and mixed-use development projects in urban and suburban settings. In 2022, she won a CoStar® PowerBroker Quarterly Award for completing one of the largest retail leases in Puget Sound, and she also served on the four-person planning committee for ICSC's first "Seattle Local" event in over three years. As a Seattle native, and third-generation member of WCCR, Avery has deep roots in the community and enjoys the opportunity brokerage provides in community development through commercial real estate brokerage.
