Ashley is the president and founder of Elevated Commercial Real Estate and has over ten years of commercial real estate experience. Previously, Ashley served as a retail leasing coordinator in Miami’s Cushman & Wakefield office. After which, she founded the South Florida branch of Orlando based Crossman & Co. as a Senior Associate. ?While at Crossman & Co., Ashley spearheaded leasing of Publix Super Markets’ portfolio of seventeen South Florida owned centers – among other third party assignments in Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Martin counties. Earlier in her career, Ashley completed internships at Trammell Crow Company and Holiday Fenoglio Fowler. She is a former Miami-Dade ICSC NextGen Chair and received CoStar Power Broker awards in 2010 and 2011. Currently, Ashley serves on the Miami-Dade ICSC Committee. Ashley is an honors graduate of the University of Florida, where she was a Florida Foundation Scholar in the School of Liberal Arts & Sciences. She received her M.B.A. with honors from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida where she graduated in the Top Ten of her business school class. Ashley is a member of Junior League of Miami serving as the Scholarship Committee Chair, Board Advisory Chair of The Growing Place at First United Methodist Church of Coral Gables, and a member of Young Patronesses of the Opera. She resides in Coral Gables with her husband Robert Thornburg, a Miami based registered patent attorney, and their two children.
