Art Barry

Art Barry, SIOR, is the Chairman & CEO of Coldwell Banker Commercial Eberhardt & Barry Inc. with 35+ years in the business. Art has an excellent background in commercial and industrial site selection and large-scale industrial property disposition, sales, and leasing. Art has been a member of the Society of Industrial & Office Realtors since 2003. Art's specialty is marketing and evaluation of large manufacturing/distribution properties in rural communities in order to provide realistic solutions for repositioning those properties. Art has assisted in repositioning large defunct properties in six southern states so that new companies could again hire large numbers of new employees. He is adept in assembling the fine details of the property information and ultimately compiling the best property marketing programs for his clients. Art has represented most southern-based textile manufacturers and most national commercial banks with their portfolio properties. These include Avondale Mills, Dan River, Fieldcrest Cannon, Mohawk, Pillowtex, Bank of America, SunTrust Bank, Fifth Third Bank, Synovus Bank, and Wells Fargo Bank. During the past decade, Art has twice been named the Top Industrial Broker with CBC International and in the Top Two percent of CBC agents worldwide every year since 2003. He is also a member of the CBC National Advisory Board and Georgia Economic Developer Association. A native of Macon, Georgia, Art completed his BBA in Marketing from the University of Georgia in 1983.
