Armen was born in Armenia and raised in Los Angeles. Growing up in Glendale, Armen attended Glendale High School, where he played Varsity basketball his junior and senior years and was the team captain and most valuable player during his senior year. Upon graduation, Armen accepted the position as the Head Coach of the boy’s Junior Varsity team at Glendale High School and became the youngest coach in the school at age of 18. His passion and love of the game has kept him involved in coaching youth basketball. In 1999, Armen joined the Team LA of Lee & Associates – Commerce, Inc. as an assistant/runner for two of the company’s top producing principals, Ron Young and Mike Smith. In 2003, Armen graduated from California State University of Northridge with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Real Estate Finance. His geographic focus has been the greater Los Angeles Central Market and the surrounding areas. Since joining Team LA, Armen has acquired extensive knowledge and experience working with manufacturing, warehousing/distribution, apparel, food and import/export companies. Core experiences include landlord and tenant representation, site search and acquisition, disposition, leased investments, sale/leasebacks, land development, and real estate consultation. Armen has also been actively involved in adaptive reuse projects involving conversion from industrial to residential/creative office and mixed-use developments. In 2006, Armen returned to school to earn his graduate degree from the University of Southern California. He graduated in May 2008 with a prestigious Masters Degree in Real Estate Development (MRED). Armen’s advanced educational background combined with his diligent work ethic and market knowledge provides his clients with a comprehensive basket of services. In 2014, Armen became a Vice President and Principal of the Lee & Associates Commerce office.
