Anita Lockhart

Employed with Wasatch since September 1992, Anita Lockhart is the President of Wasatch Commercial Management, and directly oversees all aspects of 1.6 million square feet in the commercial portfolio which totals in excess of 3 million square feet. Ms. Lockhart began with Wasatch as the financial manager for Wasatch’s multi-family residential apartment communities and the commercial property manager for the two initial commercial buildings in the portfolio. Since 1993, Ms. Lockhart was directly involved in the acquisition and development of the majority of properties in the portfolio to its current status of over 3 million square feet. Two of the major acquisitions were Woodlands Tower I and the Wells Fargo Center, known as a signature building in Salt Lake City. Since Ms. Lockhart became the Chief Operating Officer for WCM in 1997, her vision for WCM is to “continue its growth through skillful development and wise acquisitions.” Prior to joining Wasatch, Ms. Lockhart worked for Simons & Brecht, Inc., an architectural and development company, in Santa Rosa, California for approximately seven years.
