Andrew Scott, founding member and the “S” in GPS Group, is a 15 year industry veteran and advocate of taking care of clients “for life.” Subsequently, 90% of his business consists of repeat and referral. Born in Dallas, Texas to a custom homebuilder and 4 generations of Realtors and real estate developers, Andy had the ideal groundwork for his career in real estate. His father specialized in the Preston Hollow and Park Cities areas in the ‘70s through the ‘90s. His mom got her license in ’84 and still practices today with his stepdad. Prior to real estate, Andy held corporate leadership positions in high tech companies and was a founding partner of a successful dot-com business software company. Outside of work, Andy enjoys contributing to the community through his leadership role as incoming President of the Preston Center Rotary Club, which helps with many meaningful causes in the community. He is also an avid motorcycle enthusiast who participates in the annual Colorado 500, an invitational charity dirt bike ride where he rides 500+ miles raising funds for community organizations, scholarships, and trail preservation in the mountain towns and communities he passes through. He is most passionate about his family and enjoys motorcycle rides with his sons Erik and Jeff, and wife, Alicia, who shares the same adventurous spirit of travel.
