My biography best describes a real estate mutt. The reason for such a diverse career is mostly attributed to my curiosity and thirst for knowledge and interesting experiences, coupled with association from myriad of cultures. Real estate should be fun. It should be profitable. It should also be focused and well thought out. With this said, my experience goes back to when I was first licensed in 1994. Those that knew me back then will recall me bringing my son to work in a baby carrier all the way through him starting school. (He's married now.) Those days were hard and I'm not too proud to say that my first transaction was split with my Managing Broker and was a mobile home in a park on leased land. My commission was a little over $200 but the experience was invaluable. Since those early days, I have sold lots of properties and was selling short sales before there was media publicity about them. There were a lot of people in need and back then nobody knew how to do it or wanted to learn. Those deals were harder, took an exorbitant amount of time and had a low return. Again, the experience was invaluable. I've worked with many investors who bought properties to add to a portfolio and some to flip. Commercial properties are more fun for me these days. I have assisted in leased space but prefer acquisitions and dispositions. (Fancy for sales.) I've personally bought a bunch of houses and a few commercial buildings in multiple States. Note sales and contract flips have been interesting however I do not represent clients for these types of transactions. I've been a partner in a large residential development, and even though it was 2008 and we lost our a$$-ets, I was able to creatively restructure with the bank, secondary note holders and even the FDIC. The experience was all very unpleasant and expensive but the damage could have been catastrophic. Once again, the gained knowledge is invaluable. These days, I exclusively represent my personal association and a very select few of their referrals. My sales numbers are no longer as much of a focus as taking care of those closest to me. If you're part of my association, you probably already know my story and biography so give me a call and let's see what your new goal is. If you're not but need an agent to assist you, feel free to contact me with your needs and I will either be able to assist you or may know someone that would be a good fit for you. As a conclusion to my biography, I have a wife and son that I adore and my dog is probably cuter than yours. I have business ventures with my beautiful bride and life is good. Thank you for taking the time to get all the way to the middle, because we are far from the end...
