Alex Benson

His career in commercial real estate began in 2011. He currently manages the leasing on over 1,000,000 square feet of retail space and has represented many national and regional tenants. Alex is a native to Trussville, Alabama and has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Alabama where he was a 4-year lettermen on the football team from 2006 – 2009. He is a CCIM & CPM Candidate, Southeastern Chairman of the Retail Brokers Network Restaurant Council, and a member of the Young Professionals of Birmingham. Alex was also recently named a “Rising Star in Real Estate” by the Birmingham Business Journal. Alex has been recognized as a Top 5 Broker at Southpace from 2019 to 2021.
