Alec Kirschner is a Senior Managing Director, where he focuses on tenant representation serving firms across all industries. Alec came to Current Real Estate Advisors from the world of professional hockey. Most recently he played for the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL, the affiliate team of NHL’s Ottawa Senators. Earlier, he played Division 1 hockey at the University of Connecticut where he received his Bachelor degree in Economics, with a minor in Business. He also represented the U.S.A.’s World Cup hockey team in Israel, leading the team to a gold metal as top scorer of the 2009 tournament—and it’s precisely this competitive sensibility that he puts at the service of his real estate clients. Alongside his career in hockey, Alec also served as a property management compliance officer for Metropolitan Pacific Properties, in Astoria. Among his many duties, Alec assisted in preparing lease renewals for more than 600 tenants, reviewed daily work orders from superintendents of 16 different properties and communicated with boards of directors and residents, in the process building a strong reputation for sincerity, insight and professionalism.
