After completing his Bachelors Degree in Philosophy at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly), San Luis Obispo, he then proceeded to obtain his Masters of Business Administration (MBA). Upon graduation, he relocated to Las Vegas to manage a real estate portfolio consisting of hospitality, multi-family, and industrial investments. Time spent in the Las Vegas market afforded him the opportunity to be part of the downtown revitalization project; the disbursement of a $350 million fund to gentrify Downtown Las Vegas Hotels and Attractions. It was there that Aaron worked with such high-profile companies as Zappos.com and elite investors like Todd Kessler. Success in Las Vegas allowed Aaron to move back to San Luis Obispo County and acquire several successful boutique hotels. Finding value-add hospitality properties, renovating, re-branding, then selling is a profitable market segment that he is always engaged. Aaron is the Vice Chairman for Visit SLO CAL, and the previous Chairman for Visit Morro Bay. He has also been an active member in NAIOP: Commercial Real Estate Development Association.
