The Home Care Building occupies a prominent position on the outskirts to the east of the city centre. The front of the building overlooks the dual carriageway which gives direct access to the A27 at the Portfield Roundabout. Next-door is the Chichester Park Hotel. The Rolls Royce headquarters, Portfield Retail Park and the Goodwood motor circuit are all very close by. Chichester is an historical cathedral city and the administrative headquarters for the county of West Sussex. On the southern edge of the city centre there is mainline railway station with services to all of the south coast centres and a direct line to London Victoria (1 hour 35 minutes). The city has excellent road communications being situated on the A27 south coast trunk road which runs east to Worthing and Brighton and west to Portsmouth and Southampton.
