The former Catoctin United Methodist Church has been well-cared for by its devoted congregation for many decades.  Built in 1877 (with the later addition of the hall), the building includes a ground-floor sanctuary, hall, kitchen, and restrooms, as well as a lower-level multipurpose room with storage.  The lower level has access from both the interior and exterior of the building. The sanctuary has pew seating for 90, and includes the organ, piano, camera, and screen in the sale.  The hall has a warming kitchen with a pass-through window into the hall, which seats 79 by fire code.  The building has central air and oil heat; all building systems are functional. The hall windows were replaced roughly a decade ago, and the hall roof is believed to be under 15 years.  The property is served by well and septic; and the water is potable, though it appears to have a high iron content.  The property comprises three land parcels, one of which is dedicated parking on the opposite side of Kellys Store Rd.  Included in the sale are the two sheds at the rear of the property.
