Slim Chickens is a fast-casual restaurant chain that serves a menu of chicken tenders, wings, sandwiches and salads, along with chicken and waffles and sides such as fried pickles and fried okra. Founded in 2003, the company is based in Fayetteville, Arkansas and has over 225 locations throughout the U.S. and U.K., with more than 1,100 restaurants in development. Concord is the county seat of North Carolina's Cabarrus County. With a population of 105,240 residents, Concord is the second-most populous city in the Charlotte metropolitan area.
