Located in Yucca Valley, CA, a part of San Bernardino County, bordered in the West by the San Bernardino Mountains and in the South by Joshua Tree National Park, part of the greater Mojave Desert, this restaurant in the new Field Station Joshua Tree located on Highway 62 near the entrance to Yucca Valley. If traveling from the areas of Palm Springs, including the greater Coachella Valley, Riverside, and San Bernardino County, this is the first commercial property you pass while entering the town. Including people traveling from Orange County, LA County, and San Diego County, which are within a 2-hour drive. The location also sits conveniently near the entrance to Pioneertown, this old western movie set that is now famous, attracting tens of thousands of people a year to its quaint retail shops, great food, drinks, and world-class live entertainment at Pappy and Harriet's Pioneertown Palace.
SPACE DESCRIPTION:
This restaurant building at the new Field Station Joshua Tree is a total of ±5,000 SF, comprising of fully built-out restaurant/bar space with quality improvements, a covered patio, FF&E, and a type 47 liquor license available for purchase. A Japanese restaurant previously occupied the premises, so the space currently consists of modern Japanese-styled improvements in the dining area and a bar being used as a sushi bar. The dining area also includes a host station, a service station, storage areas, men's bathrooms, women's bathrooms, and an open dining area full of tables and chairs.
The large kitchen includes a cook-line in the center with two side-by-side hoods and ventilation systems 6' - 8' each with equipment including a griddle on top of refrigerated drawers, a grill on top of refrigerated drawers, two deep fryers, a six-range stove with oven and a salamander. A prep area and an expeditor window are located directly in front of the cooking line. The prep area includes a sandwich/salad prep table with a refrigerated base and a long stainless steel prep table with storage underneath. The large combo walk-in refrigerator and freezer are on the North end of the kitchen, near the cook-line. Behind the cook-line is a three-compartment sink for hand washing dishes, a separate two-compartment vegetable washing sink, additional open prep areas with prep tables, a large dishwasher loading area, dry storage areas, and an employee restroom.
