468 19th Street is a trophy restaurant space in a historically significant building in the heart of Oakland's entertainment district. The restaurant consists of 4,000 sf of ground floor space, 1,200 sf of mezzanine with an ADA lift and 3,000 sf of basement. The ground floor space is split into two sides: the restaurant/bar and the cafe/retail. Demising the two spaces is the bar, cafe and walk-in refrigerator. The kitchen consists of one 14' Type-1 hood, one 6' Type-2 hood, 12-seat bar, a walk-in refrigerator and keg cooler, ADA restrooms and much more. All FF&E can be available.
The mezzanine is accessed by an open stairwell and an ADA lift, and overlooks the dining room and retail spaces. The basement has one walk-in refrigerator and plenty of prep space.
Property ownership completed the overhaul of 468 19th Street in 2011, which included seismic upgrades, sprinklers, MEP and all restaurant improvements. The property is also home to two other restaurants: an exciting new restaurant/bar on the corner of 19th & Telegraph, and Xolo.
