Fairfax County Zoning Ordinance:6-201 The PDC District is established to encourage the innovative and creative design of commercial development. The district regulations are designed to accommodate preferred high density/intensity land uses which could produce detrimental effects on neighboring properties if not consistent with the recommendations of the adopted comprehensive plan and not strictly controlled as to location and design. The district regulations are further intended to insure high standards in the mix of uses, lay-out, design and construction of commercial developments.
