Built in 1880, the Wilbur Fiske Haven House maintains much of its original aesthetic, including, antique fireplaces, detailed Victorian trim woodwork, and a large porte-cochere. The house is built on a solid brick and stone foundation and features finished old oak floors, slate roof, copper gutters, high ceilings, and custom designed windows.
The house was converted in the 1980s for professional use, and recently renovated in 2003. The building now has ample space for businesses, offering modern amenities like gas-fired HVAC, Ethernet connections, paved on-site parking, and a two-car garage, which make this a functional yet elegant work space. A great fit for businesses looking to add an aesthetic value to their company.
The first floor offers a reception area by the main door, with ready work stations for several support staff, adjacent to a refined waiting room. Also on this level are three more private offices and a conference room. A large wood carved spiral staircase leads to the second floor, which features four senior offices and a sun room overlooking the neighborhood. The third floor, which has its own separate staircase, boasts eight offices with several built-in work stations and a spacious common area. The basement is partially finished and features an additional two offices, kitchenette, computer room, and utility room. The building houses five rest rooms, three of which include shower stalls.
The house was placed on the National Registry of Historic Places in 1992.
