Denbigh is a market town in the Vale of Clwyd, 10 miles south of Rhyl, 8 miles north of Ruthin and 32 miles west of Chester. It enjoys good road communications provided by the A543 and A525, the latter affording access to the A55.
32-34 High Street is situated in the main section of the high street, being at the top of Vale Street, and therefore the main trading location within the centre. As with other market towns of this size, multiple retailer representation has fallen in recent years, but the immediate area includes premises occupied by Boots, Co-Op and until recently the former Post Office. There is short stay parking within certain sections of the high street, and low cost on street car parking is available in the immediate vicinity. In recent years edge of town retail developments have taken place off Vale Street including provision of new supermarkets, and a small retail warehouse scheme.
