Originally built in 1981, 2800 S Ashland Ave was initially a printing facility for the Chicago Sun-Times. In 2017, the building was transformed into a cutting-edge,30-acre data center campus. Now operating as a colocation facility, QTS hosts some of the biggest names in technology that have expanded into the Chicago market. Situated in downtown Chicago, this facility is equipped with an on-site, 125 MW expandable substation and A/B 138 kV feeds from two additional substations. The campus also boasts robust fiber infrastructure, with over 14 providers available.
