Shepherdstown Crossing, located just off the busy Route 15 commercial corridor, is a brand-new mixed-use development in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
Concept plans include two four-story 40,000-square-foot buildings with dedicated first-floor retail space and modern, luxury apartments on the second through fourth floors. Plans also call for an on-site Burger King and an additional pad for another quick-service restaurant. A final three-story building will contain up to 20,000 square feet of office, retail, and/or restaurant space.
Walking trails surround the entire development, with sections shared by the neighboring Daybreak Church at Gettysburg Pike and the municipal dog park connectivity.
Situated next to the Shepherdstown Historic District, building façades will resemble the early architecture of the industrial revolution. Shepherdstown Crossing sits in the heart of one of the fastest-growing regions in Pennsylvania, with easy access to major highways via Route 15. Although commercial development is expanding in the area, many large farms are still in proximity, providing a tranquil, scenic setting within minutes of upscale shopping, entertainment, and restaurants. This commitment to balanced growth is one of the reasons the area is growing so quickly. Cumberland County municipality and Upper Allen Township have been very cooperative and are eager for commercial development to begin.
