Red Apple Plaza has served as a community retail & service center in Chester, Maryland since 1989 when the first two buildings were constructed. Since then, the project has grown into an 18-acre mixed use development with 14 total buildings and three separately named portions of the center. Red Apple Corner (110-120 S Piney Rd) was the next addition, a three building complex with a bank pad, two-stories of retail/office and a traditional retail building. The third name within the center is The Prominade at Red Apple Town Center, consisting of 144 residential units on top of 25,000sf of retail, in addition to three restaurant pads.
