Howard Hughes first Timber office building, located within Village Green at Bridgeland Central, will kick off construction in the first quarter of 2023. This will be the Houston areas first mass Timber office building. The 3-story, 49,379 RSF office, designed by Lake Flato and Kirksey, will feature exposed mass timber structure and ample natural lighting by way of floor to ceiling ribbon windows. Tenant spaces will have access to balconies, raised flooring and will feature an average height of 14’5” floor to deck. Additionally, the building will have access to Bridgeland’s master hike and bike trail system and will feature bike storage, lockers and showers. The building is designed to LEED Gold standard and is currently pursuing Fitwel certification.
