Once a JC Penney department store that operated from 1952 to 1979, The Exchange is an adaptive reuse that brings creative office, coworking space, and food-maker space to a vital corridor of Bellflower, California. Developer/builder Howard CDM and architect Studio One Eleven stepped in to bring the building back to life by exposing its concrete structure, red brick, and wood ceilings. The new development furthers the revitalization of downtown Bellflower and is surrounded by attractive amenities.
