Located in the heart of Berkeley’s famed North Shattuck District, on a quiet residential street, only three blocks from Shattuck Avenue, just North of UC Campus. The Second Church of Christ, Scientist Berkeley is seeking new users for their historically significant site. Designed by the famed Berkeley Architect Henry Gutterson in 1926 (1949 for the Sunday School addition, the property is comprised of two leasable areas – the Main Sanctuary and Sunday School Building. Both areas can be leased separately or together and are available for exclusive use at all times outside of Wednesday Evenings and Sunday Mornings for the Sunday School building only. Any use during these times shall be negotiated between the parties. Otherwise, the grounds are comprised of a large, private courtyard and parking lot with 22 vehicle stalls, plus an area to stack 5-7 employee vehicles.
