The New Stapleton Waterfront District is an EDC-led initiative to activate the 35-acre waterfront. With nearly 700 new residential units built and planned, 100k sf of retail and 300k sf of other commercial uses, a newly built “15-minute neighborhood” has emerged. In 2019, a large portion of Bay Street was rezoned as part of a Neighborhood Plan that includes $100 million in dedicated new funding.
