The Battery is the revitalization of a former PECO power plant facility that sits on the Delaware River in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia. This project will be a mixed use facility housing office, co-working, residential, entertainment and food & beverage. The Battery will bridge the gap between the Fishtown neighborhood and the Delaware riverfront, activating it with local residents, consumers and corporate office tenants. All of this activity will be housed within a historic façade designed by architect John T. Windrim and developed by Lubert-Adler.
The Battery site has been designated both a QOZ and a KOZ. The KOZ will offer tenant’s unparalleled tax benefits in an riverfront environment that the Philadelphia market has never seen before.
