Completed in 1926 by the legendary architect Louis Kamper, this Italian Renaissance revival building towers at 475 feet—one of Detroit's tallest and oldest skyscrapers. The shorter Book Building adjacent to the tower that features 12 sculptures along the Washington Boulevard facade was also designed by Kamper. The Book Building has a unique U-shaped design that allows for ample natural light. Currently finalizing restoration, this 38-story landmark will offer a boutique hotel, office space, ground floor retail and F&B, as well as private living. It is a fixture in the skyline, with its ornate copper roof visible for miles. Building tenants have access to various parking options.
