Buildings:
a. Main plant – About 50,000 square feet. Insulated ceiling and exterior walls. System in place to cool the processing floor area. Ammonia refrigeration equipment hasn’t been in use since 2019. This building has a two-bay loading dock on one end.
b. Freezer/Shipping Dock/Storage/Office – 12,000 square foot freezer/staging/dock area that will run a sub-zero temperature using an ammonia type refrigeration system. This system has not been in use since 2019. There are racks inside the freezer for storing pallets of product. There are 5 shipping dock bays for the staging/dock area. There is also about 6,000 square feet of dry storage and office area as part of this building. This area is accessed from the main plant by a product elevator and also a stairway.
c. Main Office – This is a two story, wood framed building with a wood and stone exterior. It is roughly 6,700 square feet with multiple offices, kitchen, boardroom, and 4 bathrooms.
d. Meeting Center – This is a one-story metal building that is finished with sheetrock interior walls and suspended acoustical ceiling. It is roughly 5,000 square feet and has a few large open areas, a kitchen, and two multi stall restrooms.
e. Maintenance Shop – This is a metal building structure with several overhead doors. It is roughly 5,000 square feet in size and has an office, restroom and mezzanine over the office area for storage.
f. Breakroom – This is a metal building that is roughly 2,700 square feet. It has two multi-stall restrooms and a large open area for table and chairs and vending machines.
g. Other outbuildings – There are a few of other buildings on the property including two double wide mobile office buildings, modular guard house, fueling station canopy, and storage sheds.
This property has an ADEM permitted wastewater treatment system on site that discharges into the City of Greensboro’s sewer system. The property has controlled access from both Highway 69 and Highway 25. There is city water and natural gas on the site. Electricity is serviced by Alabama Power.
