1201 West Pender Street is known as the East Asiatic House and was built for the Prince of Denmark in 1963. The building offers 8 floors for a total of 59,483 sf. It was designed by renowned architect Gerald Hamilton who also designed landmark buildings such as the Planetarium and Q.E. Theatre in Vancouver. Located on the northwest corner of Bute and West Pender streets, it has floors of about 6,700 square feet with some good views of Coal Harbour and the North shore mountains.
